Christmas time fun at the donkey sanctuary.

This week was party week for those children who have been visiting the donkey sanctuary. There was a sleigh ride, a visit from Santa and festive foods to enjoy!

All the children have thoroughly enjoyed riding this term. Some more lucky pupils will get a chance next term to meet all the donkeys there, especially Simon, our own adopted donkey, sponsored by FS2.

 

 

Starbucks Coffee Afternoon at Fieldhead Carr!

We were, once again, inundated with families and friends at our regular coffee time supported by Starbucks.

It was standing room only as people flooded into the hall to enjoy the hundreds of delicious cakes and drinks donated to school by so many of you. We would like to thank everyone who supported the event through helping out , donating or attending. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

This family get together has become a well loved fixture in the school's diary and we are really looking forward to the next one! Hope you can join us.

We visit the Donkey Sanctuary weekly and get such a lot out of it. The sensory room, the donkey riding, the play area - a fantastic extension of our inclusive provision at Fieldhead Carr.

We have had such a brilliant experience at the Donkey Sanctuary that we have have chosen to adopt Simon the donkey and extend our provision to other such alternative environments. Photos to follow...
