Thursday 3rd March was world book Day. We were invited by St. Joseph's, Wetherby, one of our network of schools, to join in their celebrations.
They were lucky enough to be visited by the Leeds Book Awards author, Andrew Newbound. Four of our Y6 pupils took part in a workshop with the author focused on expanding the children's vocabulary.
They also had their photographs taken by the local newspaper which appeared in the Wetherby News last Friday.
